Ears and nostrils

Twist one side of the circle into a rope and secure it with thread. Leave long
thread to stitch the ear with. Twist one ear clockwise, and
the other in the opposite direction. Sew the ears to the head.

Fold the circle in half and knit together along the outside of the circle. Leave
long tip of the thread to stitch the nostrils. Bend it slightly into an arc and
incish to the muzzle.

Leave a long end of the thread for sewing on the legs. Fill with filler and
incish to the body.
For the ponytail, cut 30 threads of 40 cm each. We thread the threads through
loop of the 23rd row of the hippopotamus body (where they started decoupling). It turns out 60
thread We braid a pigtail. We tie it at the end with a knot and trim it
so that you get a brush. Number of threads and tail length
can be changed as desired.
Decorating the face
All that remains is to incinch/glue the eyes and make tightening.
To form a mouth, we pull the thread from the center of the mouth into the inc
nostril, return to mouth, inc pull into left nostril, again
return to the mouth, to the center of the upper place, to the center of the lower place, to the center
mouth and secure the thread there.
For the navel, we pull the thread from the front side of the neck (where
we incised the head), into the navel and returned it back to the neck. We fix
a thread.

Leave the long end of the thread and sew it into the stitches at the bottom.
