The body can also be made thicker – for this you need more gains in the lower part of the body.

3. “Leg (lower paw)” (2 pieces):

First, 3 “pads” are knitted separately with white yarn (see photo No. 1), then they are connected.

“Pads” (3 pieces for each leg):

4 CH we close in a ring, we knit in a circle.

1 row: 4 increments = (8)

2nd row: SC = (8)

We connect 3 “pillows” in one piece (see photo No. 2, No. 3), we knit in a circle SC (1 circular row) (see photo No. 4).

Next, repeat the rapport * 1 decave, 1 SC * until 13 loops (columns) remain in the circular row (see photo No. 5).

Next 3 rows of SC in a circle with yellow yarn.

Next SC with blue yarn (about 5-6 rows).

Leg tie sequence

4. “Hand (upper paw)” (2 pieces):

We knit similarly to the legs, only without the use of blue yarn. If desired, you can make smaller “pillows” on the hands (4 CH in the ring, 1 row: 4 increases, 2 row do not knit, further according to the description).

2 row: CH lift, * 1 SC, 1 decave * – 2 times = (4)

3rd row: CH lift, 2 drops.

Pull off the loops. Sew the yellow and white parts.

For volume, put a little synthetic down inside each ear

9. “Suspenders” (2 parts):

We knit a chain of CH of the desired length.

1 row: SC (dark green)

2nd row: SC (light green)

3rd row: SC (dark green)

10. Assembly.

Sew the collar to the cat’s neck

First, we sew the top of the collar (see photo No. 1), then we lay a strip of synthetic fluff and sew the bottom of the collar (see photo No. 2). Keeping the V-Shaped Collar

We embroider “pads” on the paws with a dark brown thread. Sew the legs to the body

We embroider white lines on jeans, do not forget about pockets

We make out the muzzle: we embroider the mouth with black thread, the points from the mustache, the tongue with red wool thread.

Before sewing the muzzle to the head, we insert a mustache from the inside from a suitable material (I took “stamens” for artificial flowers). You can take a thick line

We stuff the muzzle with sintepuh. Cheeks and the entire muzzle should be voluminous

Sew on the ears, nose and eyes. They can be taken ready-made, can be cut from felt or other dense fabric. I love all the details of knitting. By the way, do not forget about mimic wrinkles on the muzzle

Sew on suspenders. On the back they go crosswise. As accessories, I used parts from a bra

Remember how the mysterious tag on the back pocket of the cat Vasily shone?

The most important thing is the tail!

Here is our handsome cat! But … he lacks something

11. “Headphones” (2 parts):

We close 4 CH in the ring.

1 row: 4 increments = (8)

2 row: *1 increase, 1 SC* – 4 times = (12)

4th row: SC = (12)

5 row: 12 increments = (24)

6 row: * 1 increase, 1 SC * – 12 times = (36)

7 row: SC behind the back wall = (36)

8 row: 18 dec = (18)

9 row: 9 dec = (9)

Stuff the part with sintepuh.

10 row: 4 decave, pull off loops

We connect the parts with thick copper wire. Headphones ready

Now the cat Vasily is ready for a photo shoot!

To the cottage! To the fresh air!

The sausage is knitted with toe knitting needles (no seams), stuffed with sintepuh.
